DIY Tablecloth

I live in a college apartment.
It can be a bit dreary, but I put a lot of work into brightening it up!
For example, this super easy bandanna tablecloth I made.

I love how the colors brighten up the room.
It definitely has a shabby chic vibe to it, which is what I am all about.

All you need to do for this is collect same-sized bandannas that you think would look nice together.
Once you have gotten your bandannas together and have planned out how you would like them to be laid out, you can start!
(one of the great parts about this tablecloth is that you can make it as large or small as you'd like)

Now that its all laid out, you take two pieces that will be next to one another and lay them together with the wrong sides facing out. You can now just sew them together by one side and then open it up.
I sewed both rows of three together on mine and then sewed those rows together, but do whatever is easiest for you!

This is what the backside will look like:

This project is so simple and looks so cute! I think it would also make a great picnic blanket if you lined the back with some vinyl. (I think I will be trying that over the summer)
All my bandannas were between 50 cents and a dollar so this was a cheap project!

I hope you guys get a chance to try this project out.
If you do, send me a picture.
Let me know of any other cheap home projects I can try!
